Madison County Common Pleas Judge Eamon Costello, left, recounts local courthouse lore to Ohio Supreme Court Justice Judith French. Justice French visited London on Thursday, May 29, as part of an effort to learn first-hand about issues facing Ohio’s county judges. Those issues include courthouse preservation, security, dockets and caseloads. French said opiate addiction — especially heroin — currently poses the most persistent problem for Ohio’s businesses, law enforcement and criminal justice system. “Heroin dominates the universe,” she said.
