EDITOR’S NOTE: The following individuals were arrested or cited by the Madison County Sheriff’s Office. They are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Thursday, Aug. 27

• Criminal damaging was reported at a residence on the 1000 block of State Route of 207 in Mount Sterling. The incident took place about 5:15 p.m.

A Subaru station wagon was backed into a lift device parked behind the car. The victim told police he saw four white male teenagers fleeing. There were no suspects at the time of this report.

• David Vasey Jr., 31, of London, was charged with disorderly conduct, failure to comply and open container. The incident took place about 3:50 p.m.

Vasey reportedly kicked and wrestled police. He was arrested and taken to Tri-County Regional Jail.

Friday, Aug. 28

• Theft was reported at TravelCenters of America on U.S. Route 42. The incident took place about 5:25 p.m.

The victim claimed multiple suspects took $300 out of his hand. There were no suspects at the time of this report.

• Michael Orr, 56, of Plain City, was arrested for domestic violence. The incident took place about 4 a.m. on the 4000 block of Plain City-Georgesville Road.

Orr reportedly threatened the victim.

Saturday, Aug. 29

• Theft was reported at a residence on West Choctaw Drive in London. The incident took place between 12:20 a.m. and 11:20 a.m.

A tailgate was stolen from a vehicle. There were no suspects at the time of this report.

• Deborah Thornhill, 44, of Columbus, was charged with theft. The incident took place about 6 p.m. on East Choctaw Drive.

Thornhill reportedly stole a tree from the victim’s backyard. The tree was returned to the victim.

• Paul Locke, 23, of Columbus, was arrested for domestic violence. The incident took place about 9:45 p.m.

Locke reportedly grabbed the victim’s arms, leaving marks. He was arrested in Franklin County.

Monday, Aug. 31

• Robert Byerly, 39, of London, was charged with open container. The incident took place about 9 p.m. on South Oak Street in London.

He received a court summons.

• Robert Kennedy Jr., 28, of Williamsport, was arrested for violating a protection order. The incident took place about 10 p.m. on McClimansville-Cemetary Road in Mount Sterling.

Kennedy reportedly texted and arrived at her home with a protection order forbidding him to do so. He was arrested and taken to Tri-County Regional Jail.
