A Plain City native has been appointed the vice president of operations-Americas, for Johnson Controls, Power Solutions.
Receiving the position is Bruce Beach, son of Bob and Beth Beach of Plain City. In addition to his North America operations leadership, he will now take responsibility for operations in the South America region.
Beach started his career with Johnson Controls (JCI) at the St. Joseph facility in Missouri and has held various positions of increased responsibility over his 20 years with the company, most recently as vice president of operations for North America and vice president of operations for components. Presently he works out of the JCI headquarters in Glendale, Wisc.
He is a 1985 graduate of Jonathan Alder High School and has a degree in mechanical engineering from Ohio Northern University in Ada, Ohio.
Beach and his wife, Kathy, a daughter of Mike and Mary Reinhard of West Jefferson, reside in Port Washington, Wisc., with their three children: Zach, a senior at Colorado Mesa University in Grand Junction, Colorado; McKenzie, a sophomore at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh; and Tyler, a sophomore at Port Washington High School, Wisconsin.
