Students share with school board members

Students at Monroe Elementary recently shared with Jonathan Alder board members and administrators how to use ST Math, stands for Spatial-Temporal Math. The program is designed to help students understand mathematical reasoning and problem solving. For the presentation, teachers (Mrs. Laura Hipp (Title 1 math) and Mrs. Erica Brown (first grade) shared a little bit about ST math then partnered students with board members and administrators so they could collaborate with them in problem-solving with the program. The students led the problem-solving and showed the board members and administrators how ST Math works.
