The pasta is boiling, the salad is being tossed and the mustaches are being waxed as the St. Patrick School eighth grade class prepares to host a spaghetti dinner.The event will take place Saturday, Oct. 25 from 4:30 to 7 p.m. in the school cafeteria, located at 226 Elm St., London.The cost is $6 for adults and $4 for children. The dinner includes spaghetti, roll, salad, dessert and a drink. Carryout is also available.The new event is a part of the fundraising effort for St. Patrick School’s annual eighth grade trip to Washington, D.C.

 

OSHP project emphasizes speed, safety belt, OVI

COLUMBUS — The Ohio State Highway Patrol issued eight OVI arrests, 19 safety belt citations and 343 speed citations in the duration of the latest 6-State Trooper project. The initiative focused on the Interstate 70 corridor, beginning on Oct. 10 at 12:01 a.m. and ending Oct. 12 at 11:59 p.m. The Indiana State Police, Pennsylvania State Police and the Ohio State Highway Patrol participated in the enforcement.

Prison ordered for drug traffickers
